A teaser trailer - A teaser trailer is quite a short trailer to advertise a film, television programme, video game etc. that is about to be released.  A theatrical trailer - A theatrical trailer is a preview of a film that is going to be released in the cinema in the future. It contains a lot of scenes from the film that will give a hint of the story line to hopefully persuade the audience to go watch it. The series of shots from the trailer may not appear in the order in the film. A theatrical trailer lasts longer than a teaser trailer, it lasts about two and a half minutes.
